Aktivierung:

- Lieblingsmusik hören

- 1-3 min kalte Dusche

- Sonnenlicht direkt nach dem Aufstehen für 10-30min

- HIIT

- Reframing eines „Hard to Do Tasks“ in ein „I can do it Task“

Aktivierung:

- Meditation & Dankbarkeit

- Walking/ Jogging in der Natur

- Sonnenlicht

Endorphine - reduzieren Stress, wirken schmerzhemmend und machen uns glücklich.

Aktivierung:

- regelmäßiger Sport (Tanzen, Yoga, HIIT, Spazieren, Gym)

- Dunkle Schokolade

- Sex

Lets do this! 💃

Leader question: Do you know your neurotransmitters?

If you've been following, reading, or working with us for a while, you know that our brain is a super complex system! #awesome

It's made up of billions of neurons that communicate with each other to regulate how we think, feel, and act. I'm sure you've heard of neurotransmitters too!!? These are chemical messengers that transmit information between these billions of neurons. There are a lot of neurotransmitters, including dopamine, serotonin, norepinephrine, glutamate, GABA, and acetylcholine, etc. And each of these has a specific function in our brain and body. The Good News is: We can activate these neurotransmitters to increase our productivity! And all without a prescription, pharmacy or social media ;)

These include:

Dopamine - is responsible for motivation and reward. When we focus on a task and make progress, our brain releases dopamine, which gives us a kick and motivates us to keep going.

Activation:

- listening to favorite music

- 1-3 min cold shower

- sunlight right after getting up for 10-30min

- HIIT

- reframing a "Hard to Do Task" into an "I can do it Task".

Serotonin - is our happiness hormone and is produced in the gastrointestinal tract and affects our cardiovascular system.

Activation:

- meditation & gratitude

- walking/jogging in nature

- sunlight

Endorphins - reduce stress, have an analgesic effect and make us happy.

Activation:

- regular exercise (dancing, yoga, HIIT, walking, gym)

- dark chocolate

- sex

Oxytocin reduces stress, activates the reward system and thus makes us feel good. Oxytocin can strengthen trust and empathy, relax as well as increase self-confidence.

Activation:

- hugs!

- Touching

- Socializing

- Deep conversations

- Pets.

In Short: By supporting our brain in the best possible way, we can promote the release of neurotransmitters and get the most out of our work performance, without drugs and fuss, but sustainably! Lets do this! 💃
